In times of great duress, he was the eye of the storm, calm and focused. When we needed someone to guide us in times of uncertainty, Cory not only brought us to safe waters, he sheltered us with kindness and understanding. I would call him a superb ECR (Empathetic Conflict Resolution) manager. He always reminded everybody on the team, especially during the pandemic of 2020, that they were valuable and of irreplaceable worth to their teammates.
