Developing and coordinating Indigenous Programs for the AFL Players Association nationally, working directly with 80 Indigenous players and developing youth-focused engagement programs.• Mentoring 80 Indigenous AFL players nationally, engaging them on and off their field, providing support for their transition into and out of the club environment. • Assisting retired players in finding alternative career options post their AFL, career planning, job searching and pathways to further study.• Developing engagement programs for young aspiring Indigenous athletes, coordinating and delivering PA cultural diversity workshops and training camps.• Growing the Indigenous Programs area to a full-time service program, identifying opportunities to assist players, work with player development managers and facilitate communication with clubs.• Driving a strategic partnership between the Players Indigenous Camp and AFL All Stars Game, merging the two entities to pool resources and bring players together for a biennial training camp.• Leading the establishment of full time education programs through ACER, introducing literacy and numeracy testing for all players.• Organising and coordinating all aspects of the initial biennial training camps, from flights and accommodation to uniforms, timetables, training programs, insurance and logistics.
