Over the years, I have been lucky to be a part of great organizations that work to make the world a better place. I've participated in groundbreaking innovation, developed community programs that benefited residential and business customers and worked with a team to provide nationally-ranked customer programs and services. The organizations I have been a part of share a few common traits. Each are full of hardworking people with integrity and critical thinking skills that they use to help people. Each is full of people willing to go the extra mile to help others achieve their goals. And finally, each and every one of these organizations have a commitment to growing their influence for the benefit of others. These traits are my traits and I couldn't be prouder of my colleagues. When my career is over, I want to be known as a person who pushed clean energy farther and faster. I want to be known as the person who left a better world for all of our children and grandchildren. I believe in my heart that if we each spend more time thinking about the future for others rather than our own present situation, then the world we create will be filled with less unintended consequences. We all have a role to play in the world, but few of us are willing to define that role for ourselves. You can't compete with me. I want you to win too.
