Intellection | Analytical | Learner | Input | DisciplineBorn and raised in the ‘Big City’, I took my degree in education from UMN Twin Cities, and firmly planted myself in west central Minnesota among the soybean and corn fields. Three children and many years later my off-spring became active in the local FFA Chapter and the FIRST blue jacket entered our lives. From there I became active in the Alumni where my ‘outside of all-things ag’ perspective was appreciated and my real education of FFA began. Now, fully committed to Agricultural Education and FFA, I am currently serving as the Central Region Representative on the National FFA Alumni & Supporters Advisory Committee and as Past President of the MN FFA Alumni Association. After working for 6 years as an inventory control specialist for a multi-state wholesale seed corn farm and processing plant (and my off-spring love to remind me that the “Blue Jacket” got me the job), I've now transitioned to Business Systems Development in a small manufacturing company. Always learning and finding that growth-edge! Career and technical education, including work-based learning, are top priorities.
