Cory Okouchi received his BSEE from Boise State in 2004 after studying Electrical Engineering and Operations Management simultaneously for 4 years, taking 20+ credits per semester while working full time at Micron Technology as a failure analysis and R&D technician. He transferred to VA to help ramp Micron's first 300 mm production fab immediately following graduation, working as a shift engineer and equipment owner for most of the defect detection equipment in operation in the fab.Simultaneously to Mr. Okouchi's development at Micron, he returned to the stage as an actor in several professional theatrical productions, eventually filling roles as producer, director, set designer and board member for numerous productions. In early 2008 Mr. Okouchi was asked to act as Executive Producer in charge of technical projects for Endlight Entertainment, specifically contracted to work on the feature films "Ninjas vs Zombies", "Ninjas vs Vampires", and "Ninjas vs Monsters". "Zombies" and "Vampires" have achieved international distribution, and "Monsters" has pending distribution in 2015.Mr. Okouchi has begun his PMP application, as well as achieving 6 sigma blackbelt certification. He would like to continue developing his program management skills and leverage them to create exceptional and profitable films in association with the team he assembled for "Ninjas vs Zombies", as well as to continue developing as an engineering manager focused on maintaining a competitive edge in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Mr. Okouchi is currently working to develop and produce commercial, industrial, documentary, and narrative video projects with Leo Napper through Vicar Studios, focusing on post production management and project management.
