As Chief Executive Officer for Shoreline Dental Studio, I focus on creating a patient friendly dental office through efficiency and optimization of all front office procedures, protocols, and systems along with ensuring an optimal customer service experience. I oversee the employees in the onboarding and training protocols to help communicate the business’ mission, vision and impact. I lead the team in understanding the value creation of a good dental experience and implementation and accountability for my team leaders and team members.I have executed multiple real estate deals including the purchase and development of commercial properties that have positioned our business to strategically scale and expand over the past decade into new markets.I have helped lead Shoreline Dental Studio to earn numerous awards including being named to INC5000's 2020 List of Fastest Growing Companies, OC Business Journals Best Places to work in OC 2018-2024, two Stevie Awards in 2019 from the American Businesses Awards, and local honors as being voted Best Dental Office in San Clemente by patients and community members.I possess a variety of experiences prior to starting Shoreline Dental Studio. My history includes years in sales in the Advertising and Tech Industries, business training, coaching and development, and have years of Pastoral experience as well. I am familiar with and utilize a variety of tools in the training and development of our team including the Kolbe Assessment, Robert Cialdini’s Principles of Influence, and Languages of Appreciation.In addition to his entrepreneurial ventures, I enjoy a wide array of outdoor activities. In high school I was a 3 sport All-American in Water Polo, Soccer, and Swimming, and played rugby at my University. I’ve taken the lessons as a team member, captain and later as coach with me into my experience as a business owner and leader, and those have served me well.When not at work, he enjoys surfing, family beach days, soccer, hiking the local trails with his two kids, and a good meal.

  I currently serve as the co-owner and C.E.O. of Shoreline Dental Studio with my beautiful wife Dr Kristen Ritzau. We have grown our dental office in San Clemente, CA from the a little start up into a full service practice that offers a variety of dental treatments and disciplines to over 8000 active patients who recently voted us Best Dental Office in San Clemente by 2 local publications in 2017-2024.I oversee all aspects that are non-clinical in nature. Everything from HR to Customer Relations to Marketing.Starting from the ground up from literally a team of just my wife and myself, I have been able to wear many hats along the journey and now have the fortune to delegate many of those same responsibilities to amazing team members who are able to service our patients better than I could.I've worked to create and develop systems and standards to ensure patient satisfaction and customer service still remains at an all-time high. I currently focus on business development and the next big steps ahead of us in our practice growth including real estate expansion, provider recruitment and retention, and fee optimization.
