CurrentResearch and Analysis: Among many things, I am proud to have fostered informed decisions, developed more accurate revenue projections, implement new staff programs, and expand diversity initiatives with this work.Member Benefits: Using analytics and an understanding of the market, the customer experience was enhanced. First, a simple-to-use platform was developed. To ensure quality benefits were offered, stronger vendor agreements were negotiated. To get the word out we utilized innovative communication strategies with targeted info for a diverse membership. Continued success is sought through customer feedback that helps guide future plans. The result? Increased utilization caused revenue to increase sevenfold. This program has become the model for bar associations across the nation.State Bar of Texas Insurance Agency: In existence since the 1940s, the Agency struggled under a philosophy of doing things how they have always been done. Leading the Agency since 2013 with a new focus on improving member value resulted in the creation of creative education campaigns and product development that resulted in the number of product enrollments growing sixfold. Committee on Disciplinary Rules and Referenda Created during the 2017 Texas Legislature, the Committee had to be created from the ground up and I was honored to be selected to lead that initiative. By combining the necessary technology and procedures a productive work environment was implemented. This work created a transparent Committee that was conducive to member and public participation. The report card for the committee came with the most successful referendum in nearly 30 years. Other Successes: I have been called on to facilitate numerous board committees and task forces that have led to tasks including the creation of an attorney succession process, creating and administering our customer complaint process, and improving state bar programs by implementing evaluation tracking systems.
