I am a lawyer and trade-mark agent at Marciano Beckenstein LLP.In my practice, I counsel clients on a wide variety of corporate commercial transactions, negotiate and draft licensing, distribution, manufacturing and development agreements as well as share purchase, asset purchase and shareholder agreements. I also work with franchisees to review franchise disclosure documents and ensure that full and proper disclosure is made.As a Canadian trademark agent, I assist clients with the registration of trademarks in Canada and the US, and have a wide network of international IP associates that I rely on to aid clients in the registration of trademark and patent rights worldwide.Combining my IP and business law experience I also advise clients on trade-mark portfolio and brand management; licensing; and acquisition, management and enforcement of trade-mark and other IP rights. My clients range from small and medium-sized enterprises to large multi-national corporations.Prior to my years of practice as an intellectual property lawyer, I worked as an engineer and consultant in the water treatment industry.Outside of the office I am a father to 3 amazing girls and enjoy coaching my daughter's baseball team, cheering on at figure skating and karate competitions.
