Community colleges are critical partners in delivering education and training to a wide variety of learners. I am fortunate to have worked with community colleges for 20 plus years. As employers’ demands and students’ expectations change, community colleges must be ready to adapt. In my role leading innovation and growth, I am proud of the work my colleagues contribute to this effort.Over the years I have developed skills in Fundraising, College Operations, Board Relations, Enrollment Management and Student Support, Workforce Development, Veterans Services, Community Partnerships, Grants, Project Management, and Marketing and Government Relations.On a personal note, I love traveling with my family and learning new things about each country I visit. I have been impressed by how welcoming cultures are and it makes me appreciate their rich history that much more. Like my travels, I think it is important that community colleges open their arms to students to welcome them through the journey that is higher education.
