Senior Desktop Support Technician
Current• Utilize ITIL ticketing software and best practices• Create and maintain detailed reports and spreadsheets for presentation to all levels of management• Provide customer service, support and training to VIP's, Doctors and Nurses at three main Hospitals and Medical Plazas• Effectively manage multiple priorities as assigned• Provide technical expertise for system upgrades and maintenance.• Author detailed documentation on service call resolutions, and provide valuable data on both personnel performance and effective remediation techniques.• Manage over 2,000 end-user accounts and permissions, overseeing correct provisioning of access rights in accordance with security best practices and internal policies.• Remove malware, ransomware, and other threats from laptops and desktop systems.• Create user accounts and assign permissions.• Install and configure operating systems and applications.• Configure hardware, devices, and software to set up work stations for employees.• Respond to customer inquiries and provide technical assistance over phone and in person.• Test new software and hardware prior to deployment.• Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software and network issues.• Patch software and install new versions to eliminate security problems and protect data.• Collaborate with vendors to locate replacement components and resolve advanced problems.• Offer assistance in implementing and developing training programs.• Research and identify solutions to technical problems.• Obtain and evaluate information about new systems, peripherals and software technology
