Cory W. Monroe, CFA is Head of Research at DeltaTerra Capital. He brings extensive experience in quantitative analysis and investment management in structured finance. Prior to DeltaTerra, Cory held multiple leadership positions in investment strategy and research at Wellington Management Company over his 10-year tenure. There, he spearheaded quantitative research for the structured finance portfolio management team and helped develop a new investment process that attracted over 125 accounts and $5 billion of AUM. Most recently, he served as Managing Director of Investment Strategy to lead the fixed income efforts of the group’s Fundamental Factor Platform. Before joining Wellington Management, he was a Portfolio Manager and Quantitative Analyst at Cambridge Place Investment Management. Cory earned his MBA from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and his BA in economics, summa cum laude, from St. Lawrence University. He is a CFA® Charter holder and is a member of the CFA Institute and CFA Society Boston. Cory resides in Wellesley, Massachusetts with his wife and four children.
