About Corwin (Cory) Zass

I am the Founder, Principal and Senior Consulting Actuary of Actuarial Risk Management (ARM). I bring over 30 years experience forged out of being a life actuary successfully aiding numerous U.S. life insurers on product management, capital strategy and the managing of financial reporting paradigms. I build personal relationships with my clients and expect those working under ARM to do the same. My unique perspective spans the gamut of roles—appointed actuary, auditing actuary and consulting actuary as well as an INED for Bermuda and Cayman Island insurers. In 2006 I led ARM (www.actrisk.com) into the BDO family as an independent member of the BDO USA Alliance to codify all their actuarial needs through ARM. These types of strategic partnerships continue to this day. Known for a genuine openness to share the truth and explore the spectrum of possibilities. My "solutions focus" approach is both practical and well respected. The ARM business model is proven more effective than the franchise-like alternatives. Unabashed to professionally challenge incumbent actuaries and consultants, change only occurs after having a real conversation on difficult topics.
