Position Context:- The Global BI Manager is part of the IT Global Application Centre- The role reports to the Global Business Applications Director- The Global BI Manager is supported by the Solution Team, a network of Global and Local Business Application Specialists localized within the Business Units and the external Application Maintenance service providersKey Activities & Responsilities:- Responsible for project management of BI developments and roll outs on a global scale, under the supervision of the global applications director and in collaboration with local IT Managers- On a project basis, is the IT counterpart of Business Process owners in the evaluation of functional requirements and in the development and implementation of the related IT solution- In charge of architecture and governance of all the company's BI environment, ensuring integration and consistency among the different business applications- Supervises and signs-off the change requests proposed by the BI Specialists and/or Local Application Specialists - In charge of Service Management, according to business requirements and projects pipeline, assigning change requests to the application maintenance provider or to the internal BI specialists

IT manager in CWS-boco Italy, the Italian subsidiary (about 350 employees) of CWS-boco International (part of the German Haniel / HTS group).In this position I've been responsible for the local IT management, for the technical infrastructure and networking, for the company’s Business application area, for the Communication systems, as well as for the IT operations and IT end-user helpdesk. In this position I’ve managed a yearly IT/IM budget of about two million Euros, reporting locally to the Italian CEO and globally to the CIO seated in Germany.Main projects in this role:• Roll-out of the new International CRM solution based on SalesForce.com (145 users in the Italian branch). I was the country implementation manager for Italy• Definition and setup of a CITRIX software farm solution and ACE server authentication to allow secure remote access to the company’s LAN for the sales force and board members.• Start-up of a new logistic HUB in the Rome warehouse (integration of SAP MM-WM module with the existing MM-IM running solution).• SAP BI roll-out for profitability analysis reporting: workbooks and queries for sales people and management board.• Roll-out of the new SAP procedure to copy & distribute between plants and logistic hubs the material master records

• Responsible in the Italian subsidiary for roll-outs and start ups of the new SAP international application projects defined and approved by Corporate IT in Germany. During the development and implementation phases of these projects my role is to act as project manager and coordinator between the local Business and the global team (Corporate IT).• Responsible in Italy for the end user support in the business application area (SAP R/3, BI, SalesForce.com, Intranet portal, E-billing, E-shop, etc. etc.)
