This process looks at all phases of a construction, from design to, maintenance, extreme events, disaster response, rehabilitation, and eventual demolition or structural forensics. This paired with recent advances in structural analysis, simplified analysis is not the only economical solution. In fact, in many cases it is more costly when compared to a performance based analysis of the entire structure.
