Since I have been back in New Zealand I have been working on a clothing label incorporating one of my biggest passions, which is knitting, and creating a commercial product. Auckland Zoo

In this role I was re-employed by Montana Catering to manage the day to day operations of the company's contract with the Auckland Zoo. I had a vast team of staff reporting to me in order to run several retails outlets through out the day. I Delegated to team leaders and kitchen chefs, held weekly meetings to talk about projects and targets and implement systems for a better customer experience. I also got to work closely with Zoo's retail and marketing team as well as the visitors experience team, working on specific projects with the Zoo e.g. implementing the Keep Cup system and removal of single use plastic bottles to align with the Zoo principals. We have also organised event like Valentines Day and the Zoo lates as well as creating a catering system for conferences within the zoo grounds.The Zoo began a massive renovation project at the time which included items which felt to me such as closing and reopening of new retail outlets. I had the privilege of working in one of Hawke's bay most famous restaurants. Working closely with the owners I managed the day to day operations during service, kept an eye on stock levels and ensured that everyone delivered the highest standard of service to ensure the best customer experience.

In this role I managed the Front of House team for the catering operation for Montana catering in Auckland.I worked on daily rosters for the various events, trained new staff for service and worked closely with clients on events.As the business grew I created various teams and trained team leaders to be self sufficient when a catering job was given and inspired them to provide the best customer service possible.
