Bus HVAC systems are currently inadequate, but by addressing design defects, they might be considerably enhanced. Inadequacy results from the fact that passengers at the back of the bus have a higher chance of coming into contact with possibly harmful airborne viruses than those in the front of the vehicle. Our team was team was tasked with designing an HVAC system that will lessen aerosol particle transmission among passengers for safer public bus rides.

The parking structure on the Normandale Community College campus has been designed to support a solar panel array. The team I was with provided data on the feasibility and cost-benefit scenario of installing panels on the parking structure. The information provided was to assist Normandale in deciding whether to add solar power to the parking structure and how the power generated could be used.

Four other student engineers and I were tasked to design a filtration test bench for Donaldson, as a semester-long school project, to test new in-tank-style filters. During testing, the design needed to maintain a low-pressure operational environment for the in-tank filter. The test bench had to be mobile and integrated with the current testing stations. The student engineers team was tasked with providing a 3D CAD model, simulation analysis, and a bill of materials for the final design.

As a head coach, I was in charge of 20+ campers and other coaches at a summer camp. Assisted in planning camp activities and keeping a tight schedule. Was in charge of ensuring the events' continuity, time management, and coordination with the coaches.
