From a young age, I've been fascinated by how computers and video games work. This early curiosity has evolved into a passion for applying software solutions to solve real-world problems and improve people's lives. Today, I specialize in creating high-quality, cloud-native solutions, focusing primarily on event-driven, stateless microservice architecture. My main programming language is Python, but in other professional settings I have used TypeScript, Elixir, C++, and Go.I see software architecture as a blend of art and engineering, appreciating its elegance while embracing the technical challenges it presents. My work often involves pushing the boundaries of battle-tested technologies like Redis, AWS SQS, PostgreSQL, Docker, and Kubernetes.A significant part of my role includes being a key member—or even leading—the team responsible for managing production incidents. I do best in these situations, handling everything from applying hot-fixes and activating kill-switches to writing post-mortems and implementing long-term solutions to prevent future issues.When I'm not firefighting, I focus on squeezing every bit of performance out of the systems I work with. I dive deep into the internals of libraries and technologies, striving to optimize every aspect, including CI/CD pipelines, to ensure fast, reliable deployments at the touch of a button.Beyond my hands-on work, I'm passionate about reading and learning in areas such as programming language design, cybersecurity, and startups.
