Travels to facilities across the United States which include healthcare organizations, law enforcement agencies, and government agencies to instruct and certify staff in Education, Prevention, and Mitigation regarding Workplace Violence Prevention, De-escalation, and Active shooter training, all on both a Basic and Advanced level up to including instructor level certification.

• Employed in New Hampshire’s only Level 1 Trauma Center to deliver high quality patient care.• Advanced AVADE Instructor. Teaches nursing staff how to physically manage and de-escalate a combative psychiatric patient.• Performs specimen collection, splints, high acuity medical response, EKG’s, and phlebotomy at all levels of patients, under the direction of an RN• Obtains Blood Glucose Levels, Lactate and Blood Gas Testing, Strep throat sample testing, and UPT’s. • Assists nursing staff with obtaining vital signs, transporting of patients throughout the department, assist patients in their ADL’s, and assists with emergent resuscitations.• Functions as a Scribe / Technician for Trauma Resuscitations• Collaborates with ancillary departments, Physicians, and Psychiatric personal.• Helps to orient new staff members to the unit and unit procedures.• Assists in the development and design of protocols for the treatment of psychiatric patients under the care of the Emergency Department.

• Educates campers on the dangers of the outdoors and how to remain safe in difficult situations.• Is a high ropes course and zipline instructor, maintaining safety at its absolute highest• Trained in Emergency High Angle Rescue in the event of serious injury on the course.• Is an instructor in both recurve and compound bow target archery, again keeping safety close to mind.• Is an instructor in downhill mountain biking for children of all ages.• Is responsible for the safety of multiple adolescents during hikes of multiple days on the applician trail.• Understands and attend to the needs of campers of all ages.• Plan and prepare a variety of camp activities appropriate for ages assigned in your group as well as camp-wide participation.• Assist in the social, mental, and emotional development of children using values clarification techniques.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Maintains constant surveillance of patrons in the facility; acts immediately and appropriately to secure safety of patrons in the event of emergency.2. Provides emergency care and treatment as required until the arrival of emergency medical services.3. Presents professional appearance and attitude at all times, and maintains a high standard of customer service.4. Performs various maintenance duties as directed to maintain a clean and safe facility.5. Prepares and maintains appropriate activity reports.6.
