Deeply passionate about technology, I have been a Full-stack Developer since 2008. I've started self-learning with free pdf books and taking freelance jobs until I got my first full-time job about a year later.Since then i accomplished some things:- Developed a jQuery plugin to zoom in images (like Amazon.com) in late 2009- Developed a system to manage medical appointments schedule with Django and Backbone.js / jQuery.- Found and solved a problem in a RoR application making pages load 70% (avg) faster in my early weeks working at Quero Bolsa.- Worked actively to keep querobolsa.com.br (with 2M+/month pageviews) having best score performance (speed, SEO, accessibility, etc.) on main analyzers (pagespeed, GTMetrix, etc.).- Made a lot of bot automations and integrations with slack to help me and my colleagues with everyday trivial tasks (that were made manually).- Developed a proprietary tracking service with Phoenix (Elixir) and Vue.js- Moved marketing concerns (mailing, Ads and SEO integrations) to a new service, breaking the monolith.- Lead the team to deliver Manual do Enem (https://querobolsa.com.br/enem/manual-do-enem) in record time with Elixir and Nuxt.js. It's incredibly fast (Give it a try, we don’t see many dynamic sites loading that fast when clicking on a link). It also worked using WebSockets on “Gabarito” (Answer key) to show the answers real time while teachers were marking the Test.- Developed alone, in 6 weeks, the MVP of a new product making the System Design, the Frontend (Next.js + Webpack), the Backend (Python + Postgre) and the infrastructure (Terraform + AWS services). Everything with 90%+ test coverage and CI/CD. Unfortunately we had to shut the project down due to the pandemic.- Developed the first version of online payment service for Zé Delivery app.- Designed the system of new blockchain explorer for HathorLabs (https://github.com/HathorNetwork/hathor-explorer/issues/43)- Improved by 8 times the time of local assets compilation using Webpack + Django of a huge monolith. The average time dropped from 4 minutes (compiling everything) to 30 seconds (compiling the basics + dynamically compiling what is needed).
