As Project Manager I lead the development of ETO centrifugal pumps for Oil & Gas market (15M€ overall managed projects value in 2020).I coordinate engineering, procurement, manufacturing and testing activities, ensuring full compliance to customer’s specifications and timely delivery, in parallel monitoring costs and trying to seize any opportunity to improve project margin.I’m customer’s single point of contact from order acquisition to package delivery for all aspects related to engineering, quality and manufacturing progress.I’m responsible for the procurement of main long lead times buy-out items such as electric motors, mechanical seals, couplings, directly performing the technical and commercial alignment with suppliers.During design phase I coordinate a team of mechanical and instrument engineers to ensure that all contractual documents are released to the client according to the agreed schedule. After design freeze I interface with the manufacturing team to promptly address any emerging issue, defining recovery plans in order to avoid schedule slippages.I’ve gain good knowledge of all aspects related to contract management and especially:team work, planning, budget control, risk analysis, negotiation with customers and suppliers, internal/external reporting, technical knowledge of the product portfolio.
