As a pastoral intern, I was involved in all of the regular workings of the church. Some of my most meaningful tasks included preaching frequently, preparing Bible studies each week for the young adult group, teaching confirmation, and leading worship.As an international congregation, the American Church in Berlin helped me develop pastoral skills for.

I completed one unit of CPE (Clinical Pastoral Education) at a Veterans Administration hospital in Northeastern Tennessee. I worked primarily on the oncology ward and with patients and families transitioning into long-term care facilities.
