Duties include troubleshooting, maintaining and repairing production machinery and equipment,including complex CNC machinery. Proficient in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical,electrical,hydraulic and pneumatic system.Oversee direct report to ensure Preventive Maintenance is completed in a timely and efficient manner according with the production demand.Knowledgeable in establishment and implementation of preventive maintenance programs. Proficient in design and adaptation of new applications to existing machinery. Competency in wiring,controls, arc flash analysis, pluming power/water/air, hydraulic system,precision alignments,welding and other process equipment. Assists in implementation of new production systems. Ability to manage tie-in systems, management system and parts inventory. Provides training for team members on machine repair,procedures and precision adjustments. Ability to read and understand electrical and mechanical print and schematics. Set up contract and schedule outside contractors for repairs beyond scope of internal resources.

-Install, maintain, repair, assemble and disassemble and replace parts on machinery and equipment. -Machinery and equipment: CNC and conventional machine, lathes and mills (brands: Mori Seiki, Okuma, Mitsui Seiki, Hardinge, Hass and Bridgeport).-Diagnose cause of breakdowns, repair equipment and advice shop personnel on equipment upkeep.-Observe and test the operation of machinery and equipment in order to diagnose malfunctions, using voltmeters and other testing devices.-Clean, lubricate, and adjust parts, equipment, and machinery. -Maintain HVAC and other electrical and electro-mechanical equipment, perform building maintenance.-Record repairs and maintenance performed and report them to management.

-Assemble pumps, rotary tables, drawworks, and top drive.-Position and align components for assembly, manually or using hoists. -Rework, repair, and replace damaged parts or assemblies. Maintain and lubricate parts / components.-Read and interpret blueprints and specifications manuals, and plan assembly or building operations. -Assemble systems of gears by aligning and meshing gears in gearboxes. -Verify conformance of parts to stock lists and blueprints, using measuring instruments such as calipers, gauges, and micrometers. -Fasten and install piping, fixtures, or wiring and electrical components to form assemblies or subassemblies, using hand tools, rivet guns, and welding equipment. -Remove rough spots, smooth surfaces to fit, trim and clean parts while using hand and power tools.

-Maintenance and repair of all equipment in plant used to manufacture axle tubes for auto industry. Hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical. Equipment brands: Mazak,Okuma,Mori Seiki cnc's.Robotics (Fanuc,Kuka,Abb ) and friction welding machines.-Install, maintain, repair, assemble and disassemble and replace parts on machinery and equipment.-Inspect and test damaged parts, and mark defective areas or advise supervisors of repair needs. -Lubricate and apply adhesives to machines and machine parts according to specified procedures. -Record production, repair, and machine maintenance information. -Read work orders / specifications to determine required repair and maintenance. -Set up and operate machines, and adjust controls to regulate operations. -Collaborate with other workers to repair or move machines, machine parts, or equipment.
