I am volunteering as a career mentor at my former uni, helping to inform, guide and build confidence, as well as mentoring through the process of writing CVs, letters, gaining work experience and applying for their first role in the media.

I am award-winning journalist and PR. I set up Costello Media in 2011, which delivers authentic storytelling through copywriting, films and PR for food, drink and travel clients. My bespoke PR workshops help businesses tell their stories their way, and to carry out their own PR - and I've helped clients to win several awards along the way.Highlights include:* PR for the Barclay Brothers in the Channel Islands of Sark and Brecqhou. I wrote marketing material, project managed and carried out PR for Sir David and Sir Frederick's hotels, vineyards, restaurants and gardens.* I wrote and produced a film shown on the big screen at BAFTA Piccadilly for Pennies, which to date has raised over £53million from 220million micro-donations.* I was awarded Silver for Outstanding Freelance PR at the Chartered Institute of PR Awards.* I am thrilled to be currently mentoring a gifted, 'underrepresented' student from the University of Bristol to find their path into journalism. I hope to be able to build their media knowledge, confidence and ideas to break into this competitive career, and thrive.* I have learned my crafts in big agencies and publishing companies - often called into ideas meetings, I can bring fresh thinking to any project.My clients have included vineyards, hotels, wine importers, charities, airlines and a theatre, plus organisations that offer food delivery, tourism and sports.My education includes a Politics Degree at the University of Bristol, Post Graduate Diploma in Journalism, Screenwriting at the National Film & Television School, Diploma at the Wine & Spirits Education Trust and a Diploma at the Chartered Institute of Marketing. I have also studied film production at West London College.

Pennies is the digital charity box. Instead of putting your spare change into a box at the till, you round-up your purchase to the nearest pound through the chip & pin machine when you pay by card. Pennies is used at Domino's Pizza, Party Pieces, Zizzi, Travelodge, Rugby Football Union and many more retailers. Bee organised Pennies' anniversary event at BAFTA, Piccadilly. She produced and directed an animated light show projected onto Marble Arch. She produced and wrote two films to celebrate Pennies' achievements. This brilliant fintech charity has raised over £52m for 1,000 charities from 218million microdonations.

Relaunched OPP's monthly property magazine with a fresh look, news and content. Introduced new writers, grew the editorial team, worked with our ad team on profitable features & chaired panel debates at OPP's annual property show.

Headed up an editorial team of writers and section editors to deliver weekly global drinks news to the wine, beer and spirits industry. Worked to tight deadlines and often found holding the front page as more up-to-date news came in. Part of the organising team to launch the Responsible Drinks Retailing Awards and also hosted the annual OLN drinks awards.

Fact-checking, wrote headlines, sub-edited features and stories to daily deadlines.
