I was initially hired to lead the development of Sharefaith's flagship product, Church Websites. Within the first year, I had also had built and launched a "Church Apps" product, and subsequently became technical lead for all projects and oversaw all development efforts.Church Websites is a highly customized WordPress theme, and being the lead developer, I became intimately familiar with the advanced inner-workings of WordPress.Church Apps have separate native iOS and Android apps that require a first-party API as a middleman to communicate with third parties and website content, and a WordPress plugin that allows a website administrator to manage what website content gets published to their app. It is a complex product, employing several programming languages on various platforms.
