As a leader and public speaker within the fast emerging social health movement, he celebrates the places and stories that connect us…Regular community connection dramatically increases our resiliency and functions as social healthcare.Steve serves as the co-chair of the workgroup to expand social connection infrastructure in healthcare for the Massachusetts Coalition to Build Community and End Loneliness. Under his leadership, the Coalition is creating solutions to address loneliness and social isolation in communities across the Commonwealth.Steve guides individuals and peer supporters towards success through placemaking and storytelling projects:▪️10 years leading design projects that engage entire communities of stakeholders and result in the creation of third place gathering spaces.▪️11 years leading retreats and developing connective storytelling classes, workshops and tours: programming specifically designed for those in recovery.
