Selected as employee of the year (2006 - 2007) out of over 14,000 employees.The onsite Polaris Project Manager of a $9.5 million school building and was responsible for the selection of the location of the temporary school.Designed and remodeled the temporary site for academic use, this included performing the actual construction to build classrooms, and offices.Responsible for the entire Polaris facility, including but not limited to the school, the four residences, seven acre campus, and vehicles.Responsible for monitoring and maintaining the security systems in the four houses and school.Acted as Computer Administrator for the Polaris School for the first three years.Nominated as Chief Safety Officer for Polaris and served on the committee.Responsible for verification on all facility purchases over $500.00.Responsible for the purchase of supplies on a yearly basis from state contracts and local vendors.Monitored and set up purchase orders for supplies with a variety of suppliers.Created and maintain facilities budget.Responsible for writing four bond proposals, receiving over $850,000.00 in repairs and renovations.Performed and contracted work on several large projects to cut the Polaris spending costs from outside contractors.
