Agriculture and farming have been part of my life from the beginning. Much of my early education in these fields came from my involvement in FFA and 4H. I am fortunate to belong to these outstanding organization. My participation has resulted in honors and awards in multiple categories including horses, sheep, rabbits, fine arts, photography, visual arts, working projects and more. It’s through my work with FFA and 4H that I learned valuable life skills such as respect, responsibility, financial management, and communication. Most importantly I learned how to have a positive impact on the lives of others.Over the past four years I have been employed by several farms, learning what it’s like to be a farmer, work the land, and care for livestock. I’ve learned to do equipment repair, build fences, and put in water lines. I’ve gained a deep understanding of the commitment needed to run a farm and raise livestock. I have spent the most of this year working as soybean reserach associate expanding my knowledge and experience in the ag field. Agriculture and farming are a passion, not just a job. I have recently competed by AAS in Ag Business DMACC, graduating with honors with mainting a full time job. I have also been on the Dean’s list every semester. Regardless of the task at hand, I have always delivered my best effort and then some. I hold myself accountable to do what I say I will do. My education combined with real life experience has prepared me to successfully move forward. I am seeking a new position that will bring additional growth and experience allowing me to bring value to my employer.
