I am many things, but the best ways to describe me are probably funny, charismatic, forward thinking, progress orientated, intelligent and caring. I spent the first part of my life racing. I started racing dirt bikes in New England from 4 years old to 10years old; I was pretty good at it too, even donning the name Holeshot Hartson because I would normally get to the first corner... well, in first. From there my family moved to North Carolina and I started racing things with 4 wheels (it was a lot safer, I was getting injured pretty badly). From 10yrs to 16yrs old I competed in many things and won most of them, capturing wins and championships in many different classes and driving disciplines. Around 16/17 yrs old is when I started volunteering as a mechanic at Jennifer Jo Cobb Racing. I was really hoping to be able to drive for them, but the opportunity never arose and I ended up following these new skills I had been acquiring. From then on I've been honing my skills in racing in my personal life, as well as my mechanical skills in my career. I proved my worth quickly and moved up to the top level of NASCAR over the next few years. I've learned many things, but the most important thing I've learned is that I am an entrepreneur with an entrepreneur's mind set. I've got many great ideas and now is the time to go after them.

Owner/OperatorMy City Garage Nov 2022 - PresentConcord, North Carolina, United StatesI am currently working for myself as a mechanic, as I can, while I get my elbow injury fixed. This is a dream and a passion of mine and now is my time to chase this. I have so much knowledge and experience in this industry and I believe my skills will suit me even better as an owner/operator of a automotive shop. I find the work, schedule the work, order the parts, do the repair and the paperwork as well. I can do it all, there are big things coming for me and My City Garage. -
Professional DriverHartson Motorsports Feb 2001 - PresentUnited StatesI've been racing since I was 4. I always have and I always will. I wanted this to be included in my experiences because any competitor knows that sports will teach you many things. Racing is a sport like no other, you don't have a team, it's just you; these kinds of extreme competition, high stakes, everything is on you type situations have taught me countless things about life and about myself. Many skills I have today came from things I learned from racing.

MechanicChristian Brothers Automotive Dec 2021 - Nov 2022Concord, North Carolina, United StatesI was a mechanic here for about a year. I worked closely with the front staff to complete our work. I always took pride in my work and was a trusted mechanic for my team. I enjoyed working there very much and worked very well with everyone there. Unfortunately, an on the job injury has led me to leave the job in search of getting my injury dealt with. I left this job in great standing with the company and everyone in there. -

MechanicJoe Gibbs Racing Apr 2017 - Sep 2019Huntersville, North Carolina, United StatesI had the honor of working here for 3 years. I learned so much from this experience. I started out in the 'teardown department'. In this dept. We removed all parts and pieces on the racecars when they return from the race track. We then cleaned all the parts and kept detailed maintenance notes and miles on all parts. We inspected and tested all the parts after cleaning to make sure they were good for more racing!
