Global Business Support (GBS) provides technical leadership for Premier customers around the world to promote health in their IT environments through onsite, remote and dedicated support services. As part of Microsoft Customer and Support Service (CSS), GBS is focused on the Operations Phase of IT services based on Microsoft Technology.As Country Business Manager I am the key point of contact for the stakeholders in Sweden, plus the escalation point of contact for any Premier customers in Sweden both regarding reactive and proactive services. My key connection point is the Premier Country Lead and the Support Practices Managers (managers of SDMs) in ensuring that we are contributing to our overall delivery and support targets. In the GBS organization I am working closely together with my Group Manager in Denmark and my management team in Western Europe on a daily basis, and also collaborating business and manager wise in EMEA region.I am managing the Swedish team of Premier Field Engineers (PFE) together with another PFE manager, which currently persists of 26 FTE. GBS PFE provide various services to our Enterprise customers to increase systems availability, resolve critical issues, and ultimately improve the health of our customers’ environments. To ensure the skills to troubleshoot and maintain our customers IT services in line with Microsoft best practices my team consists of highly skilled engineers with deep technical expertise.
