I am a Licensed Clinician (LCSW) in the state of NJ and FL. Currently I hold a Master’s Degree in both Clinical Social Work and Educational Leadership. I am a member of the National Association of Social Workers-FL Chapter. Also, an LCSW Approved Supervisor in NJ and a State of Florida Approved Supervisor for Social Work Interns accumulating their hours for licensure. My true passion in the field surrounds strength based approaches to individual, couples, & family therapy. I have worked with individuals, couples, and families in a variety of contexts such as private practice, outpatient psychiatric centers, psychosocial rehabilitation centers, and home-based therapy visits. More importantly I enjoy working with children and adolescents and the family dynamic that surrounds them.I have nine years experience with Developmental Disabilities in the educational setting. This experience includes Classification, IEP development and execution, executing appropriate accommodations and modifications for special needs students, and assisting parents coping in processing with their child of disability.In the community, I've worked for agencies that provided in home therapy to families in need. I also spend my time volunteering in my community and in countries abroad.My educational history includes a Masters in Clinical Social Work from Fordham University and Master of Educational Leadership from Walden University. Education is a major component in my career, I love to teach at the college level, therapeutic level and school based level. My family members come from a lineage of educators.
