These engagements offer opportunities for education as well as for individual and community healing.We work through faithful public policy advocacy. Each engagement works to mobilize people toward policy that includes voter guides, letter-writing campaigns, and direct, in-person lobbying. Once interfaith community members are educated, they are ready to participate in advocacy that involves visiting their legislators in Harrisburg. Public witness, calls to action, and policy advocacy allows Heeding to build campaigns by involving the public, media, and legislators to enact common sense gun laws like One Handgun a Month. Interfaith Philadelphia provides a diverse array of programs and offerings to youth, adults, congregations, and businesses aimed at promoting interfaith learning and engagement. Thier aim is to replace hate and fear with harmony and acceptance.

Formerly Main Line Interfaith Green Group and now affiliated with PA IPL, is a discussion centered, interfaith group, working to foster collaboration and/or coordination on interfaith action. Its purpose is to gather shared experiences and environmental initiatives, especially in our places of worship.
