I am a senior at the University of Wisconsin Madison, looking to become a Speech Pathologist. As a Community and Nonprofit Leadership and Communication Sciences and Disorders major, I have been able to gain a deeper understanding of my ability to help others. After taking in a little girl who lived at the local homeless shelter and struggled with communication, I realized my passion for both fields. During my time at UW-Madison, I have become more interested in the connection between the nonprofit and healthcare sector because of their desire to change the world for the better.
