Courtney began her career at General Electric, quickly ascending the corporate ladder to become the CMO of GE Capital at the age of 38. Upon its dissolution, she went on to unify the GE company-wide brand strategy for the Industrial Internet. Delivering its flagship Minds + Machines event on 3 continents and launching the very first developer conference for predictive analytics. Following her GE Career, Courtney continued to pursue her passion for marketing. As CMO for the luxury textile company Annie Selke, she was instrumental in rebalancing their omnichannel mix from wholesale to direct to consumer to achieve incremental margin lift. Most notably, she kept the cash flow flowing during Covid. Donning her boxcutter and overalls, she hit the warehouse. Learning to drive a forklift to pick, pack and ship goods to the delight of homebound customers. She then answered the call of Joe Yakuel to build out the growth division of the performance marketing company, WITHIN. Adding new revenue streams and service offerings across influencer, affiliate, lifecycle, SEO and marketplace channels. Most recently, she has found her true passion as an executive coach and facilitator. Supporting conscious leaders who connect personal growth with professional success. She is ACC certified by the International Coaching Federation and a Certified Positive Intelligence Mental Fitness Coach. She is passionate about continuous learning and is a student at the Generative Knowledge Institute and the International Human Design School. In addition to coaching, she remains an advisor to several start-ups. Her company, The Beacon Collective is re-launching in fall of 2023 with her fifth retreat for executive women in partnership with Canyon Ranch and the introduction of an online leadership accelerator.
