As a Marketing major at Southwestern Oklahoma State University, I've relished the opportunity to grow my business management skills across different employment and extra curricular opportunities. I currently am employed at New Creation Nutrition where I started as a team member with minimal responsibilities and have since been promoted to being a partial owner one day out of the week for the next year. Since being presented with this business opportunity, I have gained skills that include social media marketing, product creation, and money management. These skills will be used to help me grow from a partial business owner, to an owner of my own company. Outside of the work force, I am also in a sorority called Sigma Phi Lambda. I joined in fall 2020 as a member, and have since been elected to be Vice President of the chapter. As Vice President, I have responsibilities that I use in order to do my job to the best of my ability. These responsibilities include planning, coordinating, scheduling, and communicating with vendors, chapter members, and the rest of the executive board. As an executive team, we also have the responsibility of planning and running chapter meetings once a week.I look forward to owning my own nutrition business after I graduate in 2023.
