About David Coven

When did you realize you couldn't fail, and what did it allow you to do? For me It came when I understood that failure wasn't when I was wrong, or stuck, but rather when I quit. This has helped me learn that decisions and actions only become mistakes when I choose not to learn from them. These two things in tandem have allowed me to speak my mind, pursue my passions, and learn more than I ever thought I was capable of. I've found life in solving truly difficult problems that aim to leave the world better off. From keeping the skies safe at Boeing, revolutionizing energy at Tesla, disrupting educational finance with Scholarship Junkies, and helping usher in a new era of transportation with Hyperloop. The harder, and more impactful the problem the more interesting. Every day I aim to work on the world around us as much as I work on myself. When not exploring educational solutions with Scholarship Junkies, or tackling aerodynamic problems with UWashington Hyperloop, I pass the time by listening to and writing poetry, playing video games, and enjoying the time I have with friends and family.

Listed skills include Public Speaking, Leadership, Higher Education, Community Outreach, and 46 others.
