I am the person who determined the reporter story's emphasis and length. I helped reporters and producers develop ideas for their stories. I had many discussions throughout the day with editors and other managers to make sure things are going well. I also jumped in regularly to write/report breaking news stories or anything that a reporter or producer may be falling behind in that day. One of my most important jobs was to revise, rework and copywrite every story that goes into a newscast. I make sure it isn't too long, slowing down the pace. Wrote and produced live show, incorporating different graphics and areas of the studio to showcase each story.
