After facing much adversity due to my multitude of identities, and witnessing how others suffered due to other conflicts, I came to the realization that many of the issues we face are the result of errors in communication. This pushed me to seek a degree in Human Communication. It is on this journey that I have learned that social media not only grants us the express ability to craft, uphold, and transform relationships but also the ability to initiate necessary shifts in perspective and culture. This, in turn, led me to pursue a minor in Mass Media.Social media allows us to stimulate growth, opportunity, and change on many levels (in business and in everyday personal interactions)- all of which play a crucial role in shaping a future where diversity and inclusivity are prioritized, creativity and idea generation are enhanced, and communication in all its forms is approached with care. Over time I have developed an intense passion for wielding the power of social media to help people become the best versions of themselves, found positive environments where genuine relationships can form uninhibited, and make the world a better place. This passion has even further progressed into a desire to accomplish all of these feats both online and off. I’ve grown fond of providing unforgettable experiences for individuals and helping businesses/ organizations amplify their brand.
