Help prepare and maintain the department budget for each fiscal year. Pay invoices and allocate receipts for the entire HR Department. Serve as initial point of contact for employees regarding workplace issues and complaints. Ensure grievances are complete and eligible before forwarding to the Grievance Committee for hearing. Participate in internal investigations relating to complaints of harassment and discrimination. Conduct interviews with complainants, accused, and witnesses. Work with departments to gather materials and submit responses to South Carolina Human Affairs Commission (SCHAC) and/or Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) when charges were received.
