The motto I was raised by was "If it's not worth doing right, it's not worth doing." This ideology of detail and thoroughness has fostered a love for solving problems and improving processes in everything I take on. When given a 5 step process for delivering government notices of benefit changes, I reduced it to 3 and distributed the tools for future use. When my company needed to renew its software for inventory labeling, I offered to solve the issue and avoided an expensive monthly software subscription by recreating the labels in a free program.Solving problems has required learning a lot of new skills and subjects. I've chosen a degree in a field that is in constant expansion and transition to new tools. The amount of stored data grows five times faster than the world's economy, and the tools we use to analyze and store this data have changed rapidly as computing power has increased. Every job I've worked at has had different software for inventory and company management, and in each, I've learned the system faster than expected and exceeded my predecessor in performance. Improving processes brings me great satisfaction.I've had the chance to work with many different people and present work projects to diverse audiences. During these, I've worked well with coworkers and enjoyed getting to work on teams effectively. I've always been able to bring calm efficiency to sometimes challenging situations and assist teams.
