As a research assistant and writer at SRB Communications I have had the opportunity to work on Project REFOCUS: Racial Ethnic Framing of Community-Informed and Unifying Surveillance. The goal of this research to identify key sources of stigma that affect adherence to COVID-19 mitigation strategies, and developing a campaign that aims to reduce stigma and increase resilience and knowledge in communities disproportionately affected by the virus.My responsibilities include: -Formulate qualitative research protocols used to analyze focus group data.-Notetake and create summaries for remote focus groups.-Code and analyze focus group interview data and write findings reports submitted to stakeholders including Howard University, UCLA, and the CDC Foundation.-Create presentations disseminating research updates and key findings to project stakeholders.
