Third year research project supervisor, MEng Civil Engineering.Fourth year research project supervisor, MEng Engineering Design.Fifth year research project supervisor, MEng Engineering Design.Lecturer in Structural Engineering 3 [CENG31400], Civil engineering.Lecturer in Structures & Materials 2 [AENG21200], Aerospace engineering.Lecture presentations on the design and analysis of civil frame structures for structural failure using energy methods (namely principle of virtual forces and displacements), and stress analysis based on plastic moment theory. I achieved very good teaching scores once again here. Students and staff praised my presentation skills, lecturing style, organisation of technical content and the manner in which I explained complex theories in a simple to understand manner.

Structures & Materials 2 [AENG21200]: Second year aerospace students. Assisting in the lightweight structures laboratory, assisting in the computer laboratory for finite element software, and more recently lecturing beam theory specifically with unsymmetrical beam sections. Re-writing of beam theory lecture notes, and taking on responsibility for setting and marking the beam theory assignment.Design & Computing [AENG11600]: First year aerospace students. Assisting in the computer laboratory for CAD software and also assisting in the teaching of technical drawing. Predominantly using Autodesk Inventor.Virtual Product Design [MENGM6049]: Fourth year mechanical & MSc students. Assisting in the computer laboratory for CAD and CAM software. Siemens NX-10 used exclusively.Tasks include: Presentations, teaching, one-to-one supervision, technical assistance on FEA, CAD, beam theory, composite theory and teaching technical drawing (3D and 2D, by hand and via CAD).I received very high feedback scores from the students and many comments from other staff members regarding the care and attention I put into my work.
