My role involved the creation and delivery of training to staff, across all areas of the business.I was responsible for creating and delivering training to 1800 staff members, across a range of content including; CATIA V6, 3DEXPERIENCE, PLM, QPulse Document Management System, Internal policies and process and 123 MRP Software.Training was delivered in a variety of formats, virtually, in-person workshops, large group presentations, and small hands-on group training.

I worked as a Design Engineer in the Mechanical Design Department using CATIA V6 for seat design and drafting, before moving to the Aftermarket Engineering Department where I worked on designing solutions to issues arising in in-service seats and preparing technical documents to detail those solutions and their implementation.

I provided support, training and consultancy services to customers of Pentagon in the Solidworks CAD package.My role involved training users in Solidworks, providing customer support via telephone or on site, and installing and configuring relevant CAD packages for customers as required. I have also provided tailored consultancy for customers, on topics ranging from drawing templates and file organisation, workflow analysis & improvement, modelling best practice guidance and CFD and Flow Simulation product analysis.

I work designing the internal mechanical services for commercial and residential buildings, including the plumbing, radiators, soils and wastes, ventilation and air-conditioning using AutoCAD MEP 2015.

Final Year Project: "Design a Lateral Viewing System for Cell Microscopy"Modules in Aircraft Design, Production Management, Computational Fluid Dynamics (ANSYS), Finite Element Analysis (Abacus), Avionics, Aircraft Structures, Aerodynamics, and Research Methods

This role involved working in a team of 3-4 people serving customers, taking customer's orders and cash handling. It was a fast paced environment with high expectations of quality, service and speed all of which had to be met to provide the customers with the experience they were expecting. It was a fulfilling and interesting role which I unfortunately had to give up due to an increase in course load at university.

I worked for half of my placement in the Equities FIX Engineering Team, dealing with clients and traders. I was involved in on-boarding clients, setting up their order routing as well as dealing with Middle Office queries of a similar nature. I am familiar with DMA/DSA FIX messaging, manual on-boarding and client testing as well as a range of trading Algorithms. I was involved in several important projects during my time there, including a major software changeover which led to major savings in both time and money. I became proficient in SQL, UNIX while further improving my Excel and Microsoft Office Suite skills.In the second half of my placement I worked in the QA/UAT Manual testing team in the FX department. In this role I wrote test cases and performed manual regression testing on the primary application for FX trading. This was an important role involving communication with many different departments and reporting issues and bug to my managers and colleagues in other teams. I worked on several major releases and was involved in the testing of all pre-release packages.
