Head Of Finance
CurrentAs a Head of Finance, I was am responsible for overseeing Finance, Treasury and Facilities functions within OUA, managing all strategic and tactical matters related to financial management, cost-benefit analyses, and quarterly forecasting. It is worth mentioning that I also collaborate with Executives and Senior Management to lead critical strategic initiatives, fulfilling responsibilities for Board and FARM committee, and assuming roles of OH&S Chairman, Insurance Manager, and Facilities Manager to ensure compliance and safe operations. One of my core tasks was to coordinate with team in executing two major M&A projects (in 2016 and 2022) as one of the three key members of the team and developed effective financial model, utilised both in M&A transactions and revamped as revenue forecasting tool to improve operational alignment. Furthermore, I cooperate extensively on launch of multiple product lines at OUA, with specific emphasis on conducting pricing and profitability analyses, market positioning, revenue modelling, and securing Board approvals.Below are my notable accomplishments: • Negotiated $20m debt facility with bank in 2021 and a lease extension for a further 3 years in 2022, securing favorable terms and incentives.• Generated approximately $4m in savings through more efficient finance structure while also improving department's engagement in annual Employee Survey from one of worst to now one of best.• Rescued implementation of the HR and payroll systems, achieving a successful outcome in replacing the old system.• Pioneered OUA's first budget model and spearheaded effort to secure Board approval for 2017 Budget within just 2.5 months of joining company.
