My practice is specific to litigation and alternative dispute resolution for design consultants, owners, contractors, insurers and many of the other stakeholders involved in construction projects. In particular, I am often appointed by insurers to defend design consultants captured by construction disputes, or other insureds under project-specific insurance policies. I have a fulsome understanding of the construction industry and appreciate the significant risks, costs and impairments to all stakeholders to steer a project through to a successful completion. I favor the opportunity to provide clients with advice that either enables them to avoid disputes, or in circumstances of a dispute, gaining certainty of outcome through alternative dispute resolution procedures. Prolonged litigation and trial being a last resort.
