Collaborated with 10 nationwide staff members in building a department that recognized and provided value to the work of key volunteers for newly formed, unified national organization, which was transitioning from a federated model with independent chapters. Guided 7 regional territory chapters through this process, in addition to 5 state leadership councils through transformation from being local chapter boards (with fiduciary responsibilities) to being unified advisory leadership councils. Acted as the first-level liaison between the association and ~80 executive-level volunteers.• Organized and facilitated Misson Advancement Reserve Spend-down meetings, resulting in $2M+ being spent regionally for enhanced services for people living with ALS.• Maintained and grew a pipeline of qualified community leaders interested and able to serve on Association Committees and the Board of Trustees.• Orchestrated development of the Association’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) training program for volunteers.
