About Cp Berbee
Mijn beeldend werk uit zich in kunstprojecten in de (semi)openbare ruimte. Mijn startpunt in alle projecten is steeds het concept.Mijn drive komt voort uit mijn visie dat het broodnodig is te bewerkstelligen dat kunst een structureel verankerd, vormgevend element is, een middel waarmee iemand zijn leven vorm en rijkdom kan geven. In mijn projecten breng ik deelnemers - burgers, bestuursinstellingen en bedrijfsleven - in aanraking met voorstellingen en beelden waarin ze hun identiteit als groep en als individu kunnen onderzoeken en vormgeven. Het gaat hierbij steeds om het ontwikkelen van het (culturele) zelfbewustzijn van een gebied, een plek of gebruikers.In mijn manier van werken weet ik mensen te inspireren en boven zichzelf uit te laten stijgen. Ik werk meestal op een procesmatige wijze waarin het conceptuele aspect leidend is en een zo hoog mogelijke artistieke kwaliteit het doel. De projecten hebben een accelererend vermogen, zijn interactief, spreken een breed publiek aan zonder plat of populistisch te zijn en leggen verbanden met verschillende sectoren die bij het gebied, waar het desbetreffende project zich afspeelt, betrokken zijn.
