• Preparing bills and invoices for sales and services rendered as well as customer statements, bills and invoices and reconciling expenses to the general ledger.• Responsible for preparation of weekly sales reports and monthly management reports.• Generating monthly, quarterly or annual financial statements and reports detailing paid invoices and other accounts receivable activity.• Assisting in the preparation of Quarterly and yearly budgets. • Preparing payments by verifying documentation and requesting reimbursements.• Maintaining financial security by following internal controls• Calculating and posting receipts to appropriate general ledger accounts and verifying details of transactions such as funds received and total account balances.• Compiling and sorting documents, preparing and posting invoices, credit and debit notes.• Working with credit control to verify status of delinquent accounts and soliciting payments and overdue accounts.• Banking and doing bank reconciliation.• Preparing staff payroll and wages for casual workers• Reconciling the accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted.• Preparing profit and loss accounts, balance sheet and cash flow statements.• Preparing and submitting statutory deductions.• Researching any discrepancies by checking bills, invoices, sales receipts and bank deposit records.• Processing incoming mails concerning billing and invoicing.• Communicating with clients about billing discrepancies and questions.• Engaging management over receivables problems and challenges.
