As a product design lead I spearheaded the design of new features across several areas including: the new user experience & onboarding, inclusive design for our LGBTQ+ daters, and post-match interactions like chat & date planning.

Built & launched a farmer's market delivery service to fill a gap in community access to high quality local food after the Covid-19 crisis impacted many of the local farmer's markets in the bay area. I managed the business and a delivery & operations team of 3 for a year and a half serving hundreds of households across 4 Bay Area cities before merging my business with a partner in SF. Post-merger I continued to provide digital ops consulting to Spirit Fruit and other farmer friends running their own delivery services.

I led the design and user experience of MiraAI, a platform organizing information from across the web in order to help beauty enthusiasts find the right products for them. MiraAI was acquired in 2020 for 30M by Femtec Health.• Worked to build Mira's product design efforts from the ground up, creating product roadmaps, prioritizing design & research efforts, and centering our team around the user experience.• Piloted workshops, interviews, surveys, and other research efforts across numerous initiatives to answer product questions, uncover opportunity areas, and define our audience.• Led Mira's effort to design a powerful-yet-simple search engine for beauty products & worked together with our data & dev team to execute the designs. Continually tested, iterated and personalized the user's journey to finding the perfect product to fit their needs.• Developed app branding, aesthetic guidelines, our public website, promotional materials, UI graphics & animations, and more.• Organized & mentored a design team of 3 including managing a design research internship. Worked on creating effective & efficient design processes and created experience frameworks we needed to align around our user journeys.

Post-launch, I continued to lead the design + development of Atlas, a digital journey mapping platform that I designed and prototyped. I led the front-end development for the project, working with a team of other developers on the back-end API & database for Atlas. In our first year we grew an internal user base of more than 1,000 designers and other Autodesk employees who use the tool to map our customer experience and internal processes. Atlas helps Autodesk tackle the challenge of understanding and improving our customer experience across a 10,000+ employee company that offers almost 100 different complex and deeply integrated software products & services.

Designed, prototyped, developed, and launched Atlas, a web application for interactive, collaborative experience mapping. I coded the original prototype my team used to pitch for the tool as a culmination of communications research I conducted within the company during my initial contract. I wore many hats for this project — as the sole designer, I developed all UI/UX designs & assets for the app. As the product lead, I collected user feedback and developed roadmaps for the product. And as the team's front-end developer, I implemented our designs using React.js & worked with our dev team to plug in the back-end. I conducted QA and user testing & worked with back-end developers to structure & execute three week sprints in continued dev. We launched the application within Autodesk as an internal tool to improve communication of user experience within the company in addition to exploring opportunities for launching the tool more broadly as an external-facing product.

Working for CCA's digital team I redesigned CCA's Vault student archive system including a new UI, iconography, and branding. I converted the existing system to match the new design using HTML / CSS / JS and worked with our dev team to connect the back-end. Conducted usability testing and iterated on the design.
