Our company sells a large physician accounts receivable package and is a major nationwide EDI clearinghouse for both physician and hospital claims. We provide a very high tech solution to capturing claims electronically, editing them and passing them on to insurance carriers all across the country. We also work with all HIPAA approved EDI transactions.

The NCC is an unbrella Civic Association organization responsible for coordinating the efforts of about 25 other civic organizations within the City of Columbus, OH. We also acted as the liaison between these organizations and City officials such as the mayor, City Council and even State and House representatives.

This company was a wholely owned subsiderary of Community Mutual Blue Cross/Blue Shield. At this company, I was the lead programmer responsible for the coordination of hardware and software that would allow us to interface with hospitals and physician offices to edit, collect and transfer on electronic insurance claims.

At the time this company was called Central Benefits Blue Cross. I held several positions within both the private side of the business and the Medicare side. I rose through the ranks from file clerk, to claims processor to finally hold the position of Medicare Program Coordinator reponsible for analyzing federal mandates and turning them into functional IT.
