Currently starting my career as a Children and Families Social Worker. I am currently undertaking a Masters Degree in Social Work as well as doing a 200 day placement within Children's Services at North Lincolnshire Council.I am a proactive, adaptable and emotionally intelligent individual with 17 years work experience in various customer facing environments. Throughout the course of my academic and working life, I have acquired high level communication skills, leadership and a team focused outlook. My defining trait is my curiosity and incorporate this into everything that I do with the view of achieving positive outcomes for those I work with. Through my experiences, I have gained an international mindset evidenced through independent travel around the world, achieving a high level of proficiency in Spanish, taking advantage of an opportunity to study at one of the top Business Schools in Spain and doing a work placement during my year abroad in Barcelona.Moving forward, I want to continue my development as an anti oppressive, highly skilled practitioner within Children's Social Work. I also have ambitions to set up my own social enterprise and further my language learning.
